FIT-All FUND MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM Privacy Notice The National Transmission Corporation ("TransCo" or "we", "our", "us") adheres to the general principles of data privacy and data protection and respects the rights of its data subjects. This Privacy Notice is intended to inform the users ("you", "your") of the FIT-All Fund Management Information System ("FIT-FMIS") about how we will collect and process your personal data when you fill out the Information Sheet and register in the FIT-FMIS. Legal Basis for ProcessingThe processing of the information you shall submit through the FIT-FMIS is by virtue of the Philippine Renewable Energy Act of 2008, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and all other issuances related to the FIT-FMIS as administered by TransCo, in relation to Sections 12(c) and 13(b) of the Data Privacy Act of 2012. This Privacy NoticeThis Privacy Notice is to be read with the other data privacy, data protection, and data security policies of TransCo. It guarantees that adequate standards of data privacy and data protection are to be applied in the processing of data contemplated in this document and as required under Section 13(b) of the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Categories of Personal Data Collected and ProcessedWhen you fill out the Information Sheet and register in the FIT-FMIS, we may collect the following data categories: name, designation/position, division/department, and signature. These data will be used by TransCo to verify your authority for purposes of submission of the FIT Statement of Account and Billing Statement for RE Developers, Monthly Preliminary Energy Sales Report (MPESR), Monthly FIT-All Receivable, Collection, and Remittance Report (MFRCRR), and monthly Summary of FIT-All Collection for the Collection Agents (CAs). When you choose to contact us through email, we may collect the following data categories: name, contact number, and email address. We will also be collecting any information you may disclose in your message. These data will be used by TransCo to address your complaints, feedback, or other concerns. Purposes for Collection and UseYour personal data will be used for the following purposes:
Data Retention and DisposalWe will retain your personal data and store it in our FIT-FMIS database for a period of ten (10) years, unless otherwise required by law or as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes disclosed in this Privacy Notice. We will delete the personal data after the lapse of said period, or until it is no longer necessary to retain the same under the law or when the processing related to the purpose has already terminated. You may also, at any time, request the deletion of your personal data by contacting us, if you no longer wish to keep your account. We will promptly delete your account and your personal data from our servers upon receipt of your request. Security and Confidentiality of InformationTransCo takes all reasonable precautions to protect your personal information, both while the information is being transmitted and after it is received by TransCo. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be considered as 100% secure. However, once your information has been received by TransCo, it employs and observes security procedures and policies commensurate with industry standards to safeguard against loss, theft, unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, and disclosure. TransCo likewise safeguards your personal information from unauthorized access, through access control procedures, network firewalls, and physical security measures.
